Tournament Operation Policies and Procedures Establishing an exciting tournament schedule requires detailed planning, coordination, promotion and follow-up for all events. It is imperative that as a Head Professional I coordinate with other managers and the overall event calendar for the club. In addition each member should feel welcome to participate in events and receive confirmation upon sign-up for each event. The attitude of each event will reflect the atmosphere of the event and the participants in the event. My team will strive to provide personal and professional attention to every detail as we conduct each tournament. To coordinate an active Club Tournament Program the professional staff must create excitement and strength in participation amongst the members. Members often plan their summer schedules around our tournament program. An active tournament program can also enhance revenue in the Golf Shop. Using gift certificates as a prize can often entice multiple purchases. Merchandise prizes can offer an addition to the unique experience of the event by offering a memento from the event and the wonderful atmosphere that was created.
